Norton says thunderbird is unsafe to download and wont let me do it. Another security program said it has a trojan and won't let me download it.

I have used Thunderbird for at least 10 years and downloaded it many times on different computers. After a computer crash, I am trying to download it, but 2 security programs would not let me do it. I just downloaded Firefox without a problem. I see that others have had this problem, but so far have not found a solution.
